“This album revolves around the theme of rebirth and self-discovery in the face of challenges. The inspiration for this concept came from a meaningful conversation I had with my dad during a health incident I experienced in 2020. He shared with me the idea of hitting the reset button after going treatment, and that conversation ignited the idea of embracing a brand new beginning in life.

I wrote this album centered around the journey of a character I created named “Napo”. Each individual song takes on the role of a chapter, as he explores a new world and confronts the obstacles that lie within his adventure. I wrote this album in order to create a new world, encompassing the story that I wanted to tell.”

Bewilderment opens the LP with beautiful lush synths and builds epicly into a huge bass drop that blends melodic elements and heavy freeform bass.
Firespoken follows a similar idea with a beautiful foley and synth keys intro, quickly dropping into a heavier glitchy half-time drop fill with wubs and technical sound design.
Druid’s Magic switches up the tempo and starts with a four on the floor kick and stuttering synths that make for a very trippy and enchanting beat.
Warmblue brings in lush synth melodies that enchant the listener and subtly brings in heavier bass throughout the track, never fully losing the core melodic elements.
Bloodstone goes a much heavier route and is focused on a driving glitchy beat and heavy growls and sound design, building the LP into something bigger and heavier.
Prowler does just that and immediately opens with dark growls and epic bass for a midtempo banger that gets you moving.
Walking With Ents dives deeper into his heavy side with a more experimental bass track with eerie background effects and a driving beat.
Treestomp builds epicly into another heavy hitting half-time groove that truly stomps through the speakers.
Mandragoras opens with beautiful string instruments and synths, slowly adding in his glitchy sound design and dropping into a much heavier bass rhythm than expected; a perfect call & response representation of the LP so far.
Frozen Flares brings down the energy into a slow rhythm of deep bass and a lush soundscape that leaves the listener in a trance and wanting more.
Napo’s Rest ends the release with a beautiful melodic trappy beat that brings in happy feelings and a sense of euphoria that we can’t explain. A perfect journey through bass music and Floret Loret’s top tier sound design and production!

Brooke Nelson, September 23, 2023

Rising artist Floret Loret opens the door to a new world for his fans with the release of his debut album, Tales From the Terrarium.

It’s been a big year for Floret Loret, and this nature-inspired producer is determined to give 2023 the ending it deserves. Already sharing his musical passion with Okeechobee and EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, many lucky humans started their festival season with a refreshing set from this maestro. Always aiming to provide a safe space for expression, this producer has a few more opportunities up his sleeve for fans to hit a reset button with his therapeutic soundscapes.

With the final months of 2023 ahead, Floret Loret still has some monumental events planned to close out the year. You can catch him on support duties for CloZee and Daily Bread at the Orlando Amphitheater on October 14, and he is finishing off strong with the massive opportunity of touring with the legends KOAN Sound, set to start in December. The artist isn’t stopping there, though, as he has also worked hard in the studio, and it’s time his finished product came to light. Hot off the press, Floret Loret presents his latest piece of work, Tales From the Terrarium.
