After Woofax’s recent collaborations on Gravitas we’ve been eager to hear more, and bringing along the legendary Slynk to the Gravitas family is something we are very excited for. Slynk and Woofax both are amazing Ableton music production teachers on their YouTube and Patreons, another core value that stays true to the roots of Gravitas Recordings. This track brings us back to the golden age of funky glitch-hop, and these artists are some of the best in the scene for this classic sound!

Plugin The Speakers opens with a funky bass guitar groove with an irresistible groove and swagger. It quickly builds into a heavy glitch-hop drop following a similar groove and having a call and response with funky distorted guitar riffs. The song has an old school sound and its sampling and breakdowns creates an unreal jump back and forth with glitch-hop sounds and live guitar and funk elements.

“This track is a beautiful collaboration from 2 eclectic music enthusiasts, pulled from all facets to create something inspired.” – Woofax

His international breakthrough came in 2009 at Shambhala’s Fractal Forest, setting the stage for his rise as a prominent figure in the global funk scene.
