BIOGRAPHY
Denver-based Producer/DJ Kevin McIntosh, aka Visional, is an electronic musician who has an eclectic style, with the goal of causing synesthesia (being able to envision sound) in his listeners. Growing up playing instruments like the piano, tenor sax, and the electric guitar, he fell in love with all different genres of music and learned to appreciate the musicianship of each one. Listening to punk, emo, and ska music; in high school he attended every Warped Tour.
By college his style transformed into appreciating something completely different: electronic music. Seeing Daft Punk live opened his eyes to how epic an electronic concert truly can be. After graduating CU Denver with a music business focus, he began producing trap music under the artist name K-MAC. Within a few years he had official releases on labels like Dim Mak and Dirty Duck Audio, reaching the Top 10 charts on Beatport for months, and even had tracks featured in TV shows as well as a video game. Striving for a more conscious direction with his music, Kevin decided to start a whole new project under the moniker Visional in 2020. His first release “Til the Morning” came out on Tribal Trap Records and hit 50k streams within a matter of weeks. Visional is excited to keep pushing the boundaries of his productions, and most recently has an official release on Gravitas Recordings, remixing Savej’s title track “Solstice”.
