Akriza & Mah Ze Tar share Part II of their mesmerizing Where You Are, Now album February 21st on Gravitas Recordings.  The original album showcased both their sounds in an exciting new way and puts us in a trance the second we press play.  Both artists have been heavily in the scene with their touring and production, and these remixes breathe new life into the originals and make for some amazing switchups in their live performances and some different danceable energy to their original masterpiece.

“We’re bringing ancient traditional music of the East in harmony with ground-breaking production of the modern-age. This music is very much fusing the ancient with the modern.” – Mah Ze Tar

Part II brings together a surreal roster of global bass artists to put their own spin on the original album.  Featuring the talented minds of Kaya Project, Tahum, Govinda, Temple Step, Swomp, Dredlok, Geomatrae and Edamame, these fresh takes breathe new life into this album with some taking you on a journey and others reinforcing heavy bass for a perfect dancefloor switch-up.  Akriza & Mah Ze Tar set out to fuse ancient sounds with modern bass music, and these fresh remixes take that to the next level.

A standout single is shared with the world February 12th before the full album, featuring Govinda’s rework titled “This Is Raga: Part II”.  This is a beautiful blend of Indian Raga & deep beats created to inspire the body and heart, showcasing a heavier modern bass approach to the original with a heavy second drop.

“Govinda has taken the essence of our traditionally inspired electronic fusion flavor & beautifully integrated it with his own deep bass melodic style.” – Mah Ze Tar

We invite you to dive into something truly special, and take a beautiful journey with us…
