Nyquist shares his “Lunar Exploration” EP on Gravitas Recordings May 16th after two big singles. This abstract release was created using many different types of instruments including violin, guitar, and hand drums like the djembe and bongos. All this layered with a moog synth, vinyl scratching, foley nature recordings, and modern bass music production merge together for something experimental and fresh.

Kicking off the EP story with an epic collab with Swomp, ‘Moon Shadow’ releases as a stand out single May 9th to give a proper glimpse into the full release the following Friday. Swomp just released his EP on Gravitas last month and received high praise, so this is very fitting to bring Nyquist into the family.

“This tune with Swomp has all of my favorite elements of production in it. Heavy bass, ethereal atmosphere with nature inspired fx and sound design, alongside some hard-hitting drums. The full “Lunar Exploration” EP shares even more collaborations with fellow producers including Comisar, Buzz Junior, EOS and Swomp to round off the release.
