BIOGRAPHY
Hello Yes, the duo consisting of guitarist Mitch Bell and saxophonist Aaron Leibowitz, was born during the off-time on the road with electronic artist Zhu whom they continue to perform and collaborate with. Their sound is novel, conjuring Mitch’s smokey, yet sophisticated guitar and Aaron’s gut-jerking saxophone into compositions that could be described as indie groove meets electro club.
The wave of first releases draws lyrically from true relationship struggles while exploring a sonic palette that blends modern electronic sounds with classic songwriting. The two have toured the past 4 years frequenting main stages at EDC, Life is Beautiful, Electric Forest, Lightning a Bottle, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, and many others. They can also be heard as collaborators on releases from Emotional Oranges, THEY., Jason Mraz, and Tame Impala. In a modern-day fashion, the duo writes, produces, and performs all of their music.
