Creating psychedelic bass music that transcends genres; Perkulat0r filters through a mixture of soulful uplifting melodies, crunky purple basslines and funky future beats that results in a unique sound that is melodic and smooth, but still has that bass heavy punch. The past few months have led to increased exposure, with his first break being a winner of Minnesota’s Stardust Redux remix contest which gave him an official spot on the Eternal Frequencies: Equinox Remix EP, and has had 80,000+ listens on Minnesota’s Soundcloud. Since then he has been gaining more and more attention with his free releases, and is soon to release his debut EP ‘Transcension’ with Gravitas Recordings on March 25th.

"After winning Minnesota's "Stardust" remix competition last year, Perkulat0r has worked his way into the Gravitas Recordings family. The producer out of BC netted himself a full-fledged release of Transcension, his debut album, slated for a March 25th drop date. Full of smooth, sexy glitch-hop, the Canadian artist has crafted a sound that balances contemporary production techniques with a strong footing in a traditional glitch-hop aesthetic. "-- The Untz
"The bass community became very familiar with the name Perkulat0r last June, when he won Minnesota‘s Starburst Redux remix contest with a stellar and unique re-imagining of the original. Since then he’s been keeping it relatively low-key, apart from a few downloads that he’s released on his Soundcloud. Where has he been? Apparently, churning out some of the most magnificently beautiful purple bass music we’ve had the chance to listen to"-- Booms and Claps
"I owe a huge amount to Austin, Texas label Gravitas Recordings. I don’t think I can count on one hand all the incredible artists that I’ve found because of Gravitas. The label is constantly pushing forward progressive and challenging releases from a diverse group of producers and musicians. Not only have I seen releases through Gravitas from some of my favorites- including Zebbler Encanti Experience, D.V.S* and ill-esha- but the label has also introduced me to plenty of new producers who are making just as much noise as those aforementioned.
